Silent Zen and qigong retreat

Special remarks:

In the first part of this retreat we do zenmeditation several times a day, we do a part of the zenmeditation outdoor in nature.  Zenmeditation consists of zazen: sitmeditation and kinhin: walking meditation. In the afternoon we practise mindfulness yoga. The Mindful Movements of the Yoga can support our health and happiness in the practice of the zen meditation, and keep us in touch with our body. All exercises we do with the awareness of our breathing and of our action. We find a sense of balance and flexibility in our own body and mind. Two times we have a short lecture about zen topics. The outdoor meditative short hikings in the beautiful surrounding of Rödjorna is a daily activity in the morning.
In part two (Qigong day) of this retreat we discover Zhineng Qigong*, with Anne-Christine (Anki) Skoglund, who will be our Qigong teacher for this part of the retreat. Anki is well educated in Zhineng Qigong and other disciplines which are useful for Qigong. To know more about Anki please open  https://soulrelax.se/.
Zhineng Qigong consists of simple, natural exercises that trains both the body and the mind. The method consists of slow, soft movements that anyone can do regardless of physical condition. To understand Qigong we learn more about the Chinese vision about Qi = “life force” or “vital energy”.  Anki works also with Soundmeditation/Soundhealing by using Tibetan singing bowls. This type of bell vibrates and produces a rich, deep tone when played. The bowls promote relaxation and offer powerful healing properties through the vibrations that the bowls produce.

*Zhineng Qigong is a qigong form accessible to all people, easy and effective. Dr. Pang Ming is the founder of Zhineng Qigong as a medical Qigong form. As a medical doctor trained in Eastern and Western medicine as well as martial arts, his intention was to create an inclusive system, an open qigong form that is available to all people, supporting them on their journey to health and wellbeing. He was the first Qigong Master who broke with tradition and started to share the power of Qigong with a broader mass of people. At the beginning of the 20th century Zhineng Qigong was officially recognized as the most effective Qigong form, and over 10 million people at that time were practicing it.

This retreat is suitable for beginners and more experienced meditators/Qigong practitioners as well.
